We work in partnership with public sector agencies to deliver several funded business growth programmes and initiatives, designed to support economic growth.
If you are eligible for support through one of our funded programmes, we will always let you know. Eligibility for the programmes we deliver vary from programme to programme, but we will be able to advise you on the support available for your individual challenges.

Programmes We Run
Investor Ready Programme (Food & Drink)
Support to develop financial information systems in line with business growth and to source funds to underpin that growth. Funded by Welsh Government, this programme is open to Food and Drink Businesses based in Wales.
Sustainable Scale Up Cluster (Food & Drink)*
Designed for Welsh food and drink businesses with ambition to grow, the cluster supports businesses to tackle key challenges by providing access to scale up expertise across finance, access to funding, production/ productivity and management information.
*This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the Welsh Government. Delivered by BIC Innovation.

Future Foods (Food & Drink)
Future Foods aims to deliver world-class expertise in food science, technology and nutrition R&D to ambitious Welsh food and drink businesses in the Convergence area of Wales, who are seeking to develop healthy, market-creating products. Access a range of academic and other experts in the fields of nutrition and food and drink.
*This project is funded through the European Rural Development Fund (ERDF) and supported by Welsh Government and is delivered through Aberystwyth University and BIC Innovation through the Nutri-Wales cluster.
AHFES (Food & Drink)
The Atlantic Area Healthy Food EcoSystem Project aims to help Welsh food & drink SMEs develop new healthier products through the delivery of innovation training & services.

The ValuSect consortium aims to strengthen the transnational cooperation and exploitation of research on insects as resources for the development of (semi) finished food products.

Welsh Government Food and Drink
Our team of agri-food consultants have technical, operational, commercial and strategic skills and expertise which they have developed from years of working at senior levels in the food industry. They work with Food and Drink Wales to deliver a range of funded support including export support, investor readiness and market research.
Food Skills Cymru (Food & Drink)
The programme offers part funded access to training for Welsh food and drink businesses, to ensure employees in food and drink businesses have the right skills and training for their business. We deliver training such as export, leadership & management, manufacturing, operations and finance.
Tyfu Cymru (Horticulture)
Tyfu Cymru delivers industry-specific support and training to build the capacity and capability of the Welsh horticulture sector. We work with Tyfu Cymru to deliver training and 1 2 1 support on topics such as financial awareness.
ALtro (Circular Economy)
Project ALtro was launched by BIC Innovation and partners to revolutionise the assisted living sector through the circular economy. The project aims to refurbish and redistribute assisted living equipment that would have otherwise gone to landfill
