Rhian Jones

Project Officer

Rhian is a graduate of Bangor University, with previous roles including being a member of the Business Support Team for Gwyendd Council, where she had particular responsibility for the administration of Gwynedd Council’s innovative Local Loans Fund and the ISO Grant Scheme. 

Rhian is an experienced, focussed, and self-motivated administrator with experience of project management.  She has a considerable eye for detail and has worked on many projects in the private, public, and voluntary sector, including projects funded by the European Regional Development Fund, UK Government, and Welsh Government. 

In one sentence, what do you do at BIC?              

At BIC Innovation, I provide support for a range of external projects, primarily in the food sector, and provide input into central functions. 

What do you enjoy most about this line of work?         

Interacting with different people and teams, and constantly learning about innovation in the food sector.

What’s a valuable attribute to have in order to succeed within your role?        

An organized approach with good attention to detail.

What should never go on a pizza?        

Pineapple!

Where is your happy place?     

I’m fortunate to live in a beautiful part of Wales so my happy place is home.
