What do you enjoy most about this line of work?
I love the variety of clients I get to work with and the wide range of projects they’re involved in. Every business is different, which keeps things interesting, but it’s also great to spot common challenges and help find solutions that really make a difference.

I’d love to be able to pick up a new language effortlessly. I wasn’t a natural linguist at school, so languages never came easily to me. In your opinion, what is the biggest development within your industry in the past 3 years?
AI has been the biggest game-changer, not as one single technology but as a whole mix of different innovations working together. From machine learning and language processing to robotics and computer vision, AI is shaking things up by combining smarter technology, big data, and more automation to make a real impact. And it’s set to continue.

Most people know I love cycling – I used to race, but I also really enjoy cycle touring. Back in 2005, my wife and I took the summer off to tour Europe on our bikes, covering 10,000 miles across 13 countries – it was an unforgettable adventure!
