How did you get into the industry?
With a background in Multimedia Journalism, I naturally transitioned into Marketing by using my storytelling skills to create compelling digital content, social media campaigns, and copywriting for various platforms. My ability to engage audiences through multimedia, combined with my experience in PR and client relations, allowed me to develop strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
How do you keep yourself motivated?
Being in a creative role is a lot of fun, but sometimes can be difficult when you’re in a creative block. I try to regularly switch between different medias, whether that be from editing a video to creating a social card, as it helps keep my mind excited and eager for the next task.
What are the most important qualities someone in your industry should have?
I think creativity, problem solving and resilience. Not everyone is going to like your first or even second edit, so being able to handle feedback is really important.
