What are the toughest challenges you’ve had at work?
I won’t lie – keeping a team motivated and engaged at the start of the pandemic was tough. I’ve always put people at the heart of what I do but in spite of commercial pressure I was still able to be the leader I hoped I’d be in crisis
What’s your go-to productivity trick?
Right time, right place. A lot of my work is creative and critical thinking. I work best when the environment is right, sometime that’s clearing my desk first, other times a change of scene works. If all else fails, I get out for a run.
What is the best marketing idea you have ever seen?
I’m talking about ‘Share a Coke’ a lot with clients right now. Both the idea – personalised cans – alongwith the leadership vision and operational agility needed to deliver against removing the brand from product and comms – wow!
What’s something you saw recently that made you smile?
Just looking through my window always makes me smile. I’m lucky to live in rural North Wales – the scenery and peace of where my husband and I have chosen to make a home takes my breath away. And cats!
What are your key skills?
Strategic marketing, insight, innovation
