We are an experienced team of project managers and have implemented processes and tools which we have used to deliver hundreds of projects successfully. From strategic planning, efficient budgeting and forecasting to risk management, continuous monitoring and ensuring on track delivery. We can work with our funding partners to deliver projects on time, within budget and with maximum impact.

We use a range of tools to ensure our projects stay on track, deliver objectives and stay within budget. Any divergences from the original project plan are agreed in advance with the client, noting any budgetary implications. We use a project execution plan, gantt charts to manage timelines, and regularly update dynamic risk registers to mitigate identified operational and corporate risks.

Innovate UK Business Growth (previously Innovate UK EDGE)

Since 2012 we have been supporting SMEs and working with our consortium partners as part of the  Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). We deliver bespoke growth and scaling support for innovative businesses on behalf of Innovate UK looking at innovation, growth and internationalization.  Through the consortium our clients benefit from innovation and growth specialist assistance, access to international partners, networks and markets.


Wales Co-op

BIC Innovation was initially appointed by the Wales Co-operative Centre to their framework for delivery of the Social Business Wales programme in 2011 and have been accepted on to their framework ever since, including the current framework running to 2023.


Investor Ready Programme

This programme provides support in developing financial information systems in line with business growth and sourcing funds to underpin that growth.  The aim is to make Food and Drink businesses in Wales more financially aware, financially robust and more attractive to potential investment. Since 2018 we have supported over 200 food and drink business with a range of financial / commercial support from basic bookkeeping to facilitating investment.

Our processes are ISO 9001 certified.

Our approach starts with a thorough understanding of the aims and objectives of each programme; we use robust management processes and templates, capturing the key elements of each programme, noting milestone dates, deadlines, and responsibilities. We use a Red, Amber, Green status to flag issues/monitor delivery. This provides the team/client with a transparent critical path for completion. We hold regular team conference calls/meetings with the client to manage implementation, taking appropriate actions to ensure timescales are met or flagging potential issues which need further action.
