Dafydd is an experienced practitioner in innovation, new product and service development and strategic marketing.
He remains as passionate as ever about power of innovation to transform business, from effective marketing-led innovation processes encompassing creativity, marketing research, NPD, branding and positioning development, open and collaborative innovation, and the exploitation of intellectual property.
As well as leading a team of 20 high performance BIC specialists Dafydd delivers directly major projects across industry, academia and the public sector. This includes Business Innovation – Design for the Welsh Assembly Government £35M programme and the £132M Next Generation Broadband Cornwall project working with the Cornwall Development Company and BT.
Twice a Supermarketing Top 20 New Product Award Winner with Nestlé including Libbys Um Bongo, Dafydd has extensive international experience including Airbus, Delmonte, BP Oil Europe, AA, Slendertone, Racal (now Thales), Whitbread, Barclays Bank, Royal Mint, Prudential, Bissell, Stena, Unisys, Dow Corning and Camel.
